"What this town needs is a pet store.” No one knows which imp said it, but every imp recognised the idea was pure genius: “A pet shop for dungeon lords? What a great idea!” And now you have just opened the first pet shop in town, right next door to the other first pet shop in town, and across the road from two more.
Buy baby monsters, feed them and watch them grow. Running a pet stop is exciting for an imp, but it can also be mentally challenging: What is the smartest way to win the upcoming exhibition? Which pet is the best suited for your dungeon lord? How strong a cage do you need and if you guess wrong how many family members will be maimed?
Dungeon Petz is a standalone game set in the Dungeon Lords universe. The game consists of several rounds in which players use unusual worker placement mechanisms to prepare themselves for the uneasy task of raising creature cubs and pleasing their different needs, represented by cards, in order to sell them as grown scary creatures to dungeon lords. In the meantime they also attend various contests in which they show off their pets, scoring additional points.

We say: It's mad, it's cute, it's totally whacky and different, but it's awesome! It's like a board game version of all those monster Facebook games you always thought: it'd be so cool if they made this into a real world game. Well, now they have!
