The first Asylum Pack for Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game details the first chapter of the Yuggoth Contract cycle of expansions, Whispers in the Dark, introduces doomed bounty hunter Tyler Scindere, as well as the mysterious Red-Gloved Man, as well as the brand new 60-card per pack format.
Whispers in the Dark, as well as all of the remaining Asylum Packs in the Yuggoth Contract cycle, features three copies each of 20 new and unique cards to add to the Call of Cthulhu card pool. Whispers in the Dark also features new game mechanics involving shifting icons and purposeful insanity, as well as the first chapter in a new serial tale by Nate French.
In part one of this six-part story, Tyler will begin his descent into a mad, hidden world, made more difficult by the loss of his eyes. Tyler must find out who wanted his eyes and what they wanted them for. You can follow Tyler's story through all six Asylum Packs of this cycle of expansions.
