Postage & Shipping

The Geekest Link ships to most of Europe, Australia and the USA. We do not ship outside of those locations except by prior arrangement. Orders outside the UK must come from a Verified PayPal account, or from the registered Credit Card address on file.

 

 

PLACING AN ORDER  

To place an order and make a payment to The Geekest Link, please follow the steps listed below:  

1. Select the products you would like to purchase and add them to your cart.  

2. Select the required delivery method, the total cost of your order will now be displayed. You will have two options, depending on the weight of your package (first class delivery, or, if the package is over 2kg, all parcels will be sent by courier).  

3. Click on 'Checkout' to proceed to the payments page, where you will have to log in to proceed. You will then be asked to provide payment details through the Paypal payment system.

 

Note: All credit and debit card details are processed on a secure server; we do not store any of your card details in our system.  

 

Select the 'Postal Order Form' option where you will be able to print out an order form.

All cheques and postal orders should be made payable to “The Geekest Link”. You will be sent a confirmation email once we receive your order by mail

All in-stock products are usually dispatched within 48 hours of receiving your payment unless specified otherwise - customers should refer to the specific terms of the carrier used regarding estimated delivery timescales. Please bear in mind that we are only a growing company and it is not always possible to send out items the same day.  

Your order should take a variable amount of time to reach you, depending on the postage service required. We cannot be responsible for delays to shipments due to extreme weather, acts of God, or other developments beyond our control. All items over £20 are sent recorded delivery and ALL international orders are sent by International Signed For, so we can confirm your goods have reached their destination.

 

First Class: Parcels should arrive within 1 to 2 days - in this age of postal strikes, first class post is taking considerably longer to reach its destination. We cannot follow up on lost packages until ten working days have elapsed. We will endeavour to locate your parcel by providing tracking information (where applicable).

 

Second Class: Parcels should take approximately seven full days, although they typically arrive in around three.

 

Courier: Customers should expect their goods to arrive within the time scales provided for the service they have purchased. Most parcels are delivered next day. 

 

Residents outside the UK should expect their orders to take considerably longer, depending on location.

 

Pre-ordered items are dispatched as soon as they arrive in stock. You will receive an email from us informing you when your order is in stock and whether you wish to continue with the payment.

 

All shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of your order, plus a small amount for postage and packing. If you purchase more than one product in any single order you will save on postage costs compared to paying for each product sent out individually, however if you are ordering any pre-order items it is important that you read the 'Shipping & Pre-orders' section below.  

 

When you select your delivery method at the checkout you will be shown the total cost of postage as well as the total cost of your order including postage. This information is displayed before you are asked to enter any of your contact and payment details. If you are unhappy with the total cost you can remove the products from your cart to cancel the order.  

 

If you wish to purchase any products that are not available until a later date we advise that you do not combine them with other products in one single order as the checkout process will automatically combine the weight thus lowering the postage cost for each individual item. It would therefore be too expensive for us to send out each product as a separate package meaning you would have to wait until all the products in your order are in stock before we can dispatch them.  

 

Packages weighing over 2kg delivered outside the UK can be very expensive to send. Please contact us in regard to ordering heavier items.
